Any Excuse formed at the beginning of 2006 and brings together musos with a wealth of club, pub, corporate, functions and events playing experience, to perform a great diversity of high energy rock, pop and dance songs, guaranteed to have most if not all people dancing and singing along.

Any Excuse is now headed up by 26 year-old Nicole Lovett. Nicole moved from Perth to Sydney during 2007 after her appearances on this years Australian Idol. Making it into the top 40 contestants, unfortunately her polished performances early in the show worked her against her with the judges concluding that she 'already had it', and there wasn't anything really for them to work with. Their loss, our gain!

Nicole has a wealth of performing and touring experience throughout Western Australia and South Australia, playing all sorts of gigs with all sorts of bands. From acoustic duos to five-piece bands, from pop, rock and even jazz, through to an Abba tribute band. From pubs and clubs through to corporate and events, she has performed extensively. Her voice has a professional, classy edge to it and we think you'll love what you hear.

The rest of the guys in Any Excuse are also well travelled, with hundreds of club and pub gigs between them. The outstanding guitar work, tight rhythm section and smooth harmonies give Any Excuse that ‘experienced’ feel; the choice of popular and well-known up beat songs gives Any Excuse a great party atmosphere and vibrant sound.
